Job Overview:
The CEA is entrusted with keen monitoring of designated premises using CCTV systems to detect threats and risks and warn stakeholders in a timely manner to safeguard life, property and premises. The role includes familiarizing with the layout and coverage of the site’s CCTV system, preserving footage as instructed, maintaining confidentiality per organizational procedures, and recording and reporting events as per procedure. The incumbent will scan and monitor per site instructions, observe irregular situations, anticipate threats, and respond to security incidents. Effective communication with on-site security personnel is essential, along with detecting suspicious activity, generating early warnings, and proactively informing the concerned person if a threat is anticipated.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Monitor live CCTV feeds continuously and identify potential threats or irregular movements.
• Validate indicators against site layout, coverage, and current instructions.
• Notify and coordinate with on-site security personnel and designated stakeholders as needed.
• Preserve footage per instructions (prevent overwriting, export where required, and secure handling).
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all organizational data-handling procedures.
• Record events with accurate timestamps and standard formats per procedure.
• Scan premises per site instructions and adjust monitoring focus as required.
• Observe irregular situations, anticipate threats, and coordinate appropriate responses.
• Detect suspicious activity or abnormal movement and generate early warnings.
• Proactively inform the designated person if any threat is anticipated and provide concise situational updates.
• Access to site-specific standard operating procedures and incident response playbooks.
• Templates for incident reports, security logs, and footage preservation checklists.
• Training materials on CCTV operation, privacy and data handling, and confidentiality agreements.
• A current contact and escalation list, and a communication protocol guide.
• Equipment checks and maintenance guidelines for cameras and monitoring systems.
• Quick reference guides for common threat scenarios and response steps.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant security certification or training preferred.
• Training or certification in CCTV operation, incident reporting, and data privacy.
• Familiarity with site-specific SOPs, escalation procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to use monitoring software and incident management tools.
• Awareness of local laws and regulations related to surveillance and security - Location: Vadodara
